Trailblazers Sponsored Challenges is part of Saltmine Trust (Charity No. 1038007). Since 1998, we have been running successful Challenges to raise funds for relief and development projects in the UK and overseas.

WHAT MAKES TRAILBLAZERS DIFFERENT?

Trailblazers is a non-profit making organisation, and is set up in a way to ensure the maximum funds raised reach their intended destination - your project!

·         We provide participants with a broad range of support:

o      A Briefing Day including a fundraising workshop, advice on kit, equipment, and the itinerary

o      Personal fundraising advice and our own specially written book on raising sponsorship

o      Support materials e.g. video footage, posters, PowerPoint presentations, leaflets

o      Training weekend, for those on our toughest Challenge, Kilimanjaro.

·         We provide marketing support to our partner charities to help them promote the Challenge.

·         We work only with bonded Tour Operators to create a range of value-for-money itineraries.

·         We are able to collect Gift Aid on behalf of our partner Charities if required.

OUR TOUR OPERATORS

We select Tour Operators to work with using stringent criteria: They must:

·         be ATOL or TTA bonded, where appropriate

·         have an excellent reputation

·         have high quality health and safety considerations

·         show consideration to the environment and communities in the locations where Challenges take place
